Welcome to HaMaKuA Publishing! In the Hawai'ian language, Hamakua means "Breath of God." And every syllable ~ HA MA KU A ~ is a kototama: a primordial sound (literally, "Spirit word" or "the spirit of the Word") whose vibration has the ability to bring things into being. The aim of HaMaKuA Publishing is to be a clear channel for the "Breath of God" ~ to publish ebooks based on universal, eternal truths.

  OUR FIRST book, The Fifth Sun, is the work of Don Beckett (Reiki, The True Story and Reiki, Johrei, Macrobiotics). Based on the Mayan understanding of our coming leap of consciousness ~ in the World of the Fifth Sun ~ this little book delivers a greatly effective, transformational breathing exercise with numerous variations, and the philosophy behind it. NEW BOOK from another friend: LEGACIES: Stories from the Second World War ~ compiled, edited, and published by Tom Swope (Radio Stew Press; Cleveland; 204 pages; July 2011). This book first appeared in 2010, and is already in its third printing and second edition!

Tom has been interviewing World War II veterans for more than a decade, preserving their stories (over 400 of them!) in audio format, for the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and his own weekly radio show LEGACIES.
